‘Big Brother Canada’ live feed spoilers: Punishment and phone calls

There are a couple of new happenings in the “Big Brother Canada” house on Sunday afternoon, and both of them in some ways are going to feel a little bit like a broken record.

First and foremost, the house is collectively being punished for the second time in two weeks … though this time for one of the Have-Nots breaking the rules. If you caught the live feeds yesterday, then you know that Jillian spent some time lying in one of the beds in the normal room. Since this against protocol for the show, everyone has had their blankets confiscated for the time being, and they will have them back when Big Brother sees fit.

Personally, we think this is a little bit interesting that we are seeing so many collective punishments, since we’d rather just see some consequence given to someone who breaks the rules. Want to scare Jillian a little bit? Try blocking her from participating in the next Head of Household challenge, or giving her an automatic vote the next time that she is on the block. We hated punishing everyone for the actions of one in real life, and we also hate it now.

Meanwhile, we had another phone call in the house this afternoon, but on this occasion the person answering it was none other than Andrew. What happened? That much is reasonably unclear, but he almost immediately went into the kitchen and started making dinner, with the primary explanation being that he was trying to honor his father on the anniversary of his death. (He also mentioned at one point to himself that he was actually trying to make the dinner taste terrible.)
