‘The Walking Dead’ season 3 spoilers: Source writer on Andrea crisis

The Walking DeadThere are characters who are in pretty terrible spots on “The Walking Dead” season 3 … and then, there’s Andrea. At the moment, we do not imagine that there is any one person on this show right now that feels a greater sense of trouble or pressure with what they are having to deal with. On one side, she has Rick and the group of survivors, and on the other, she has The Governor and his own platoon of folk in Woodbury. Both sides could spell trouble for her depending on how she decides to play her hand, and while she knows that David Morrissey’s character is evil quite like no one else is, her decision is much more complicated than just getting away from this man and joining the others.

So is there any way at all that Andrea can survive this? Well, let’s just say not to give up hope completely yet. Speaking in a new interview with The Hollywood Reporter, source writer Robert Kirkman cautioned fans who were already writing the character off already, mostly because there is still some sort of a chance that she could make it out alive if she stays resourceful and determined:

“She’s definitely in a terrible situation … She’s put between these two groups, but Andrea has gotten out of worse situations before; she’s always been proven to be an extremely strong character, and I wouldn’t count her out just yet.”

By the end of season 3, we do anticipate finding out one way or another just what the state of Andrea is going to be. Will she be able to re-join the people that she was long a part of? Right now, all we can do is hope.
