‘American Horror Story’ season 3 spoilers: Frances Conroy talks larger role
So is that going to change moving forward into the still-untitled third season? Based on what the actress saying now, it sure sounds like it. Speaking as a part of a brand-new interview with ShockTilYouDrop.com, the actress explained that this time around, she will be able to take part in much more of the story. However, she is still keeping mum on just what sort of story that will be at the end of the day:
“It’s going to start up again in July or August in New Orleans, I’ll be part that and will have a fairly substantial part in it. I’ll be in 10 of the episodes of what I think will be a 13-part season. That will be interesting to see what’s written, the writers are so good and I can’t wait to see where it goes … I know there’s been a little bit of teasing [about the setting], they’re trying to keep it all hush hush so there are surprises. I’m interested in seeing what world we’ll inhabit.”
Right now, the biggest rumor that is floating around is that there is some sort of witchcraft theme coming, at least based off of the comments that Dylan McDermott made when speaking about the show at PaleyFest. There were also some hints about it in the finale few episodes of “Asylum,” in particular the playing of the song “I Put a Spell On You.”
What do you think about seeing much more of Conroy this year? Be sure to share some of your thoughts with a comment below!

A friend of mine and I were just saying that it’d be amazing if they did a New Orleans Voo-doo themed show next season. Can’t wait to see what the writers will do if this does wind up being the basis of the next season. Being a southerner and having lived very near New Orleans all my life with frequent visits, it would be very interesting to see if they can accurately portray the culture.
