‘Hart of Dixie’ season 2 finale spoilers: Where is Zoe going?

Remember when we teased that the upcoming “Hart of Dixie” season 2 finale was going to carry with it the title of “On the Road Again”? Well, we now know just who is going to actually be hitting the road … and it should not be much of a surprise when you consider her history to this point.

According to TVLine, we are going to be witnessing none other than Dr. Zoe Hart travel back yet again to New York during this episode airing in early May, though for the time being the circumstances surrounding her arrival in the Big Apple are reasonably unclear. Is  she thinking about moving way from Bluebell permanently? We hope now for a couple of key reasons:

1. The show has already been down this road once before, and it would be nice to see a full season of this show play out without the obligatory “where is Zoe going to live the rest of her life?” story play out.

2. We have way too much invested right now in the stories in Bluebell (especially in the wake of the end of her relationship with Wade) that having her leave again right now honestly feels a little bit like a cop-out.

Even with the breakup, we do have to believe still that this was a rather good year for Zoe: she started to figure out what it means to love and be loved back (even if it was brief and ended in cheating) for the first time since her arrival in the Alabama town, and she has really started to develop better relationships with people. When you enter a community as an outsider, you know that this is not always easy.
