‘Big Brother Canada’ review: Gary becomes a warrior (and a moose speaks)
If there is one singular thing that we took from Wednesday night’s “Big Brother Canada,” it is this: does the show really need as many gimmicks as it has? When you have good strategy and genuine moments, this is enough to constitute a good show. However, the producers instead decided this week to institute a talking moose and had it fool around with Peter. It was mildly amusing, but not a perfect substitute to hilarity created by the houseguests themselves.
This was really the only event in the house that was not previously shown on the live feeds, mostly because we had not had an opportunity to know that Peter ended up saying some rather random stuff just so that the house could have the hot tub party that we ended up seeing earlier this week. Then again, wasn’t it ridiculously entertaining to see the fight unfold over the vodka? Everyone had a right to be angry at Gary, Talla, and Danielle for taking the vodka away and having a good time, and we don’t understand why anyone would want to paint the target on themselves in such a big way.
Speaking of becoming a future target, how about Gary? In winning the Power of Veto, he saved himself from being in danger. What was interesting to us, though, was that he did it so convincingly that he could become a physical threat later on. If we were him, we may have actually held back a tad at the end to appear less threatening. Then again, this was not nearly as bad a move as Danielle more or less volunteering to be a pawn, a massive rookie mistake that makes us believe that she has no idea what this game is about at all. You never, ever want to put yourself in jeopardy … even as a pawn.
Who’s going home right now? As live feed viewers no, it’s a much more interesting picture than this show made it out to be. Let’s just say that Danielle is continuing to not make herself many friends in the game.

i LOVE BB! i love that canada doesnt have as much scripting as the americans – they actually get to do some of the things they wants to do….thanks production.
slice really needs to find a way to get some action going in the house. we want to see the strategy but we also want to laugh and be entertained……
