‘Big Brother Canada’ live feed spoilers: Dishes and fashion shows
When you are on the outs in the “Big Brother” house, the best way to slowly ingratiate yourself back into the game is by trying to just lay low, find an alliance that has a few holes in it, and then try to exploit that. Unfortunately for Gary, his underdog status is probably not going to get him anywhere except straight out the door if he continues his current antics.
So what is he doing? First and foremost, he had a squable with Talla earlier in the day about something as simple as doing the dishes, and he even threatened a house meeting in order to call people out for being lazy. Let this be a note to all future “Big Brother” contestants in Canada or otherwise: house meetings are terrible ideas 90% of the time. You’re just going to end up angering everyone, making yourself an even bigger target, and isolating yourself from the people that you call out. The only way it can work is if you are doing something to apologize or make yourself look funeral (a la Dan’s funeral), but otherwise this is probably not something that will go anywhere for you.
On the flip side, Gary has tried to organize something with a house fashion show (set to happen tomorrow), but he has also managed to alienate some people in the house (including Danielle and Suzette) who are not as confident about their bodies. There has been talk about the guys scoring the contestants, and really this whole ordeal is barf city right now and setting gender equality back about 50 years. Sadly, we feel the same way about how some of the women are playing right now, since we don’t get enough of a sense that they are really fighting so much as like flirting with guys and hoping that they take them over each other.
What’s your take on house meetings: good or bad? We wish we had more for you from the house, but it’s been mostly just everyone hanging out chit-chatting throughout most of the day. The house still seems divided between Aneal and Danielle, but no matter who stays in the game, they will be in trouble next week.
