‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians’ season 8: Brody Jenner to spend time with Kim

It’s pretty strange to think of casting spoilers and reality shows in the same sentence, but this is the strange world we live in. While the situations on “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” are unscripted, producers clearly make a decision beforehand as to who they want to follow around, and what stories they want to capture. with this in mind, we now turn to the following story pertaining the newest “cast member” for this coming year.

Speaking to Us Weekly, a rep for Brody Jenner, who certainly has plenty of experience on reality TV already courtesy of “The Hills,” claims that he will be in a much larger amount of season 8 than any season in the past; as a matter of fact, he may have more of a presence this time than the rest of the series combined. Brody is of course the son of Bruce Jenner from his second marriage to Linda Thompson, and it has never really been clear just how close he and some of his siblings are to the Kardashian family. After all, Brandon Jenner’s wedding last year was not attended by the older Kardashian sisters; and while there is no blood relation there, they are still part of the family to some extent.

The addition of Brody may be in some ways compensation for the fact that Kanye West is not going to be making regular appearances on the show, as he prefers to stay focused on his rap career over being a reality TV star. Brody’s role will be similar to that of Brandi Glanville on “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” season 2: he won’t be in every episode, but will stop by throughout the season.

Expect some big storylines for this coming season on E! to include Kim’s pregnancy, Kourtney adjusting to life as a mother of two, and Khloe attempting to balance her new career responsibilities with trying yet again to get pregnant.
