NBC’s ‘The Office’ season 9 spoilers: John Krasinski reveals series finale title
After nine seasons of hard word, dedication, and putting random objects inside of Jell-O molds, the end is just about here for “The Office.” As a matter of fact, the actors have just had an opportunity to read the script for the first time.
So what is the title for the show’s hour-long series-ender? Basically, it is something that you could have seen coming a mile away: “Finale.” It’s not exactly something inventive, but it does make sense given that there is a documentary being made on the show, and just as this is the latest episode for us, it is also the last episode for whoever is actually getting to watch the documentary within the world of the show.
This title was first revealed in a post on Twitter by John Krasinski (who may very well be the nicest celebrity on the entire social-networking site), and he also had the following to say about it:
“Wow… Last table read of the last script of The Office in one hour. Don’t even know what to say…”
So what is going to happen during the episode? Your guess is as good as ours, but we do anticipate there being at least one upcoming installment that mirror the British version of the show, where the characters had the opportunity to actually react to the documentary being out in the real world for a change. There also has to be some sort of reason as to why the crew has decided to stop filming after such a long time, and we wonder if it is somehow related to Jim and Pam (given that it has bee previously said that they are really the only reason that the crew is still around anymore).
What do you think about this title? If you already want to catch wind on what some of the show’s actors are setting up for themselves moving forward, you can do so over at the link here.

just please please please get pam her house with the terrace! she’s been waiting since she was “12” years old!! :) :) (that’s the metaphoric happily ever after we’re all craving). let’s get some of that flirtatious interaction back for the last few episodes. too depressing with all the fighting (although after 25 years, i certainly understand/relate to the reality of it all). as far as jenna and john go, they’ve always been so gracious and humble when interviewed. i’m hoping we can all say the same thing 10 and 20 years down the road. thanks to both (…….and the entire cast/crew of course!!)
