‘Glee’ season 4 spoilers: New teases of Darren Criss, Heather Morris, and others

Ryan Murphy is being rather kind these days with the “Glee” teasers, and based on some of the photos that he has shared online over the past few days, we’re betting that there is a tribute coming up on season 4 to some of everyone’s favorite guilty pleasure songs.

Before we dive too deep into the cheese, though, let’s start with something that Murphy calls “sweet and innocent”: a photo of Brittany (Heather Morris) having a conversation with Becky (Lauren Potter). The irony here is easy to detect, as neither one of these Cheerios is particularly sweet or innocent all of the time, and both have shown a knack at saying insulting things from time to time. Do you think that Murphy is going for a little bit of irony here?

As for the goofy photos, we now come to tributes to both Wham! as well as Abba, with both of them seemingly involving Chord Overstreet in some shape or form. We’re personally hoping that the photo of the actor and Darren Criss’ Blaine to the left is from a performance of “Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go,” mostly because this is probably one of the most ridiculous (but also entertaining) songs in the history of man. Meanwhile, the Abba shot at the bottom of the article features Overstreet as well as Jacob Artist sporting some very classic disco clothing, and Chord is totally rocking the hair.

As if all of this was not evidence enough that there is some sort of tribute to guilty pleasures coming up, just remember the fact that Murphy also recently shared a photo of Becca Tobin dressed as a member of the Spice Girls.
