‘Survivor Caramoan: Fans vs. Favorites’ preview: Brandon Hantz just won’t quit
While we were never the biggest fan in the world of Russell Hantz, we understand why he was one of the most-popular “Survivor” players ever: he would say something nasty during a confessional, and then he would go on to actually do it.
However, this is not so much the case when it comes to Russell’s nephew Brandon. At one point, the part of him that wants to be this big evil character talks about wanting to burn the camp to the ground and do bodily functions in the rice; and then, he will take a step back and realize that he wants to be a better example for his kids. This makes him a bizarre person to study in the game, mostly because he takes himself far too seriously while also making us question why in the world CBS put him on another season when he clearly couldn’t handle it the first time around.
While we don’t really see much in the preview below for Wednesday night’s “Survivor Caramoan: Fans vs. Favorites” when it comes to strategy from Brandon, his threats do remind us yet again that he’s never one to stay silent and avoid causing trouble. The same goes for Shamar Thomas on the Fans, who chooses for whatever reason to get into it with someone in Matt Bischoff who is actually on his own tribe. Don’t these two realize that trying to flush out Reynold’s idol is more important that squabbling amongst themselves?
At the end of the day, Brandon and Shamar are two of the people most likely to be sent home Wednesday night, that is unless the Fans tribes stay on the right path and get rid of someone (i.e. Hope) who is on the outside of the alliance in power.
Do you think Brandon would be as loathed if he actually promised what he preached, or would the feeling about him be the same? If you want to see all of our latest contestant rankings, you can do so by visiting the link here.
