‘Anger Management’ season 2 spoilers: Charlie Sheen books Lindsay Lohan

Anger Management“Anger Management” season 2 has slowly started to fall apart in the ratings, so with that in mind, Charlie Sheen may have called in a favor from someone who surely could use some good press of her own: Lindsay Lohan.

FX announced on Monday that the troubled star, best known for her parts in “The Parent Trap” and “Mean Girls,” has signed on to play a patient-turned love interest for Sheen’s character of Charlie Goodson in an upcoming episode set to air in April. This move makes some sense when it comes to timing, as Sheen and Lohan also appear together in the move “Scary Movie 5,” which will be coming out around that same time of year.

Now, we turn to what is even more interesting about this casting. Sheen did a massive favor for Lindsay last year in giving her a big portion of his “Scary Movie 5” check in order to pay off some of her tax problems, even though there were reports from set that she was disinterested in having to kiss Charlie. So how is she going to do so here? Maybe Sheen and the show’s writers will orchestrate a way around it, or they will try something else out to simulate romance between the two. What we’re most surprised at story-wise is that Charlie’s character has made a big deal on the show in the past about dating people who are also his patients … and then he is going to go and do something like this?

What do you think about Lohan joining the show, and will this do anything to help Charlie get ratings? Be sure to share your thoughts below, and you can check out some more of what “Anger Management” is up to this season by visiting the story over here.
