‘Two and a Half Men’ season 10, episode 17 preview: Walden goes back to his days at MIT

Two and a Half MenNow that Walden and Kate are off again (until their schedules allow time for a reconciliation) we are hoping that the masterminds behind “Two and a Half Men”season 10 are going to move away from all the romantic story lines and focus on something else, because let’s face it – romance isn’t all that funny and on this show in particular it really isn’t funny.  We think it’s time for “Two and a Half Men” to bring the funny back and we know they are capable of it, just look at the episode a few weeks ago guest starring the very funny Jaime Pressly.  That was by far the best episode of the season and it was because they were focusing on the laughs, more then pushing the story line further ahead.

On this Thursday’s brand new episode of “Two and a Half Men” season 10 it looks like the focus is going to be placed squarely on Walden (and not his failed relationship with Kate).  More specifically, Walden will have old video tape diaries of himself from his time at University (MIT) transferred to DVD so that he can watch them.  His video diaries outlined everything that he wanted to have accomplished by the time he turned 35. Alan is excited to watch the DVD’s, but mostly because he realized that Walden wasn’t always the cool guy – that really he was a nerdy, pimply faced teenager like he was back in the day.

As much as we hope that there wouldn’t be too much focus on Walden’s love life in Thursday’s new episode, there will of course be some aspects in the episode.  Walden will run into his ex-wife Bridget at a singles event and as the night goes on they end up reconciling.  Alan will be come worried for Walden, because he doesn’t think that they are compatible.

The next new episode of “Two and a Half Men” season 10 airs on Thursday, February 21 at 8:30 p.m. on CBS – will you be tuning in, or have you stopped watching this season? If you want to see a preview for Thursday’s episode, you can check it out below.
