‘Grey’s Anatomy’ season 9 spoilers: Who is the mole?
Is it completely ridiculous in many ways to start off a “Grey’s Anatomy” story with a reference to one of the most brilliant reality shows in TV history (we still miss you, “The Mole”), but at the same time it seems oddly appropriate given the subject matter: one recently-resigned Seattle Grace Mercy West is not going to be receiving secrets from a certain someone still under the hospital’s employ … even though at the moment the jury is out on who this person is.
TV Guide first reported the story on the suspected mole late Tuesday night, with the note that someone is going to be a double agent for Dr. Meredith Grey in order to provide her updates on some of her patients, and also a general run-down just on how the workplace really is in the wake of the latest bomb that was dropped by the doctors.
At the moment, it is rather hard to question that Seattle Grace is living and breathing chaos: with the likes of Meredith, Derek, and Arizona all in the middle of their game-changing move in an effort to convince Pegasus to bail on the purchase, the hospital will be seriously under-staffed and in a serious mood of resentment. While the likes of April and Jackson may want their fellow doctors to be owners more so than a company with a pretty subpar track record, surely they cannot be too pleased with the fact that so many important people responsible for the care of patients are suddenly gone.
There was really no way for everyone to win during this situation; instead, all we can hope for is that there will be an end coming up soon.
