‘Justified’ season 4, episode 7 preview: First look at ‘Money Trap’

Is “Justified” in the middle of its best season yet? this is a debate that has been raging in our mind for the past couple of episodes, as we have seen the writers do some pretty impressive things. Despite not selling the show with a high-profile guest star as they have done in the past, there are still a number of very entertaining elements that are working very well, and not one plot between Raylan and Boyd is working better or worse than the other. Plus, we’re always a sucker for a season that takes a few episodes to bring the main characters together again, mostly because it gives us enough time to remember just what we have been missing.

Tuesday night’s new episode is entitled “Money Trap,” and while the promo does not really tell you much about the actual plot for the hour, there are at least three “holy s**t” moments that are worth looking at during it (including a lovely moment from Raylan at the end). Just in case you haven’t seen the official synopsis for this episode just yet, be sure to check it out below:

“Raylan finds himself caught between a foxy grifter and an old nemesis out for revenge, while Boyd and Ava come face-to-face with the decadence of Harlan’s elite.”

The Drew Thompson mystery is still what is taking center stage on the season right now, and while it appears superficially that Timothy Olyphant’s character may have some leads on it, that is hardly a guarantee to be true considering the truthfulness of some of these characters.
