‘Sons of Anarchy’ season 6 spoilers: Kurt Sutter’s latest update

Sons of AnarchyTuesday night continued the recent tradition of “Sons of Anarchy” executive producer Kurt Sutter holding a Twitter Q&A session with his fans, and while there was plenty of hilarity and insult-throwing (which you can see more of at his account), there were a couple of messages that are worth sharing here in relevancy to what is going on now: the early stages of the planning process for season 6 of the show.

When asked about the current state of the writing process near the end of the chat, Sutter said that there was “no writing yet. breaking story. going VERY WELL. one word comes to mind: dystopic.” There are going to be a number of issues that he is going to have to address head-on moving into the new year, with the two most-prominent ones from this standpoint being the current states of both Clay and Tara. Is there a way that either one of them can be saved? We’re just as curious to find out if Jax is ever going to realize that he is slowly becoming a mirror image of a man he hates.

On the subject of Tig, you probably know from our previous articles that Sutter does not come into a season with concrete plans for most of his supporting characters; and thus, his story is still being figured out. When asked about whether or not we would be meeting Tig’s ex-wife this season, the option does appear to be on the table based on the fact that the character almost made an appearance during season 5. Sutter said that there is “nothing planned yet,” but that may just be because the team has not gotten around to mapping out his character yet.
