‘Two and a Half Men’ season 10, episode 16 preview: Love is in the air for Valentine’s Day

Two and a Half MenAfter last week’s episode of “Two and a Half Men” season 10 where we finally felt that the series was starting to bring back the funny in a real big way with a lot of help from a guest spot by Jaime Pressly, we are hoping that the show will be able to keep up the pace for the rest of the season, but it seems that this week’s new episode is going to be putting it’s focus back on Walden and Alan’s troubled romances with Kate and Lyndsey and while these story lines have been interesting they haven’t been exactly rolling on the floor funny.

This week’s episode of “Two and a Half Men” called “Advantage: Fat, Flying Baby” will be all about Valentine’s Day (especially fitting since it will be airing on Valentine’s Day) and will find both Walden and Alan floundering around as usual about romance.  Walden will be fantastically depressed because of him being single on the holiday, so he will decide to try to win Kate back.  Will it work? While we liked Kate for Walden, the story line actually sucked a lot of the funny out of the show, so while we want Walden to find love, we want there to be a lot more humor injected into the romance, and that just isn’t happening with Kate.

Alan on the other hand will be trying to romance Lyndsey, and after the debacle a few weeks back where he decided to pull back and not give her a key to Walden’s beach house, a special Valentine’s Day is something that Alan really needs to pull off.  In true Alan fashion, Valentine’s Day with Lyndsey will not go according to plan and then things will quickly take a turn for the worse.  At this point we aren’t really enjoying the Lyndsey/Alan relationship either.  We understand his apprehension about being in a committed relationship again after what he’s been through, but at some point there needs to be a bit of a break so that we can really believe that his connection with Lyndsey is real.

The next new episode of “Two and a Half Men” airs on Thursday, February 14th at 8:30 p.m. on CBS – will you be tuning in or will you be out with your someone special enjoying a romantic night?
