‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ review: Kenya Moore’s results are in
Did anyone else really feel like this episode of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” felt a little bit uneventful, especially after the show took a week off in order for everyone to watch a Super Bowl that came close to actually involving Kroy Biermann’s Falcons.
Really, the big news that came out of this installment was learning that the tumors that Kenya Moore discovered were benign, and that she has nothing to worry about at the moment. This would have been potentially devastating news for hear, and would have brought down some real drama on a show that more often than not deals with mere pettiness. Suffice it to say, we are happy that she is healthy and capable of going out and stirring up some more trouble in the future.
As for the hyped “fight” between Porsha Stewart and Cynthia Bailey, what sort of fight was there? All we actually had was Cynthia basically telling Porsha that she was not really contributing that much to the pageant, and she then went about her business elsewhere. While there were some petty comments made in the confessional rooms, there was nothing very nasty that actually happened between the two on-camera for the time being. As a matter of fact, Cynthia and Peter ended up attending an event for Porsha later on in the episode … one that included Kenya’s ex Walter, who was the center of a ridiculously over-stretched conflict from earlier this season that spilled into Anguilla.
Do we think that there is a major blowup coming? Sure, but we are going to have to wait for a little while longer to find out.
