ABC’s ‘Revenge’ season 2, episode 13 preview: A ‘Union’ of the scary kind

You would think that an episode entitled “Union” for any show would be a positive thing; but when it comes to a series like “Revenge,” however, we could end up seeing characters unified in despair. By the time this hour comes to a close on Sunday night, it is possible that we will know just whose body it is that Emily first saw submerged with a boat during the flash-forward in the series premiere.

Before we dive too much deeper into that, though, let’s turn some attention to what is going on in the present. Emily is stuck with the rather unfomrtoate challenge of having to help plan a wedding for a man that she long imagined herself being with, and it is perfectly understandable that she is not feeling altogether great about it. Who would be particularly thrileld in her situation, after all? She says that she wants to see Jack happy more than anything else, but clearly she would have rather that he found his happiness with her.

In furthering along the subject of being happy, Nolan breaks to Emily some rather sad news: thanks to some actions by Conrad Grayson, it may appear as though this wedding for Jack may not be as joyous as she once thought. To make matters worse, it also turns out that Amanda may be keeping a few secrets from her … and these are secrets that she is not altogether keen on sharing, given the combative way in which she interrupts the conversation here.
