‘Dexter’ season 8: Notes on Desmond Harrington and production
Let’s start this “Dexter” story with just a small piece of information for all of you Desmond Harrington fans out there: the actor is now back on Twitter! The man otherwise known as Joey Quinn posted his first new tweet earlier this week, and he also shared a link to his official Instagram page (which strangely includes a photo of Rasheed Wallace of the New York Knicks out of all people).
Just in case you are wondering how we know this account is legitimate, take comfort in the fact that story editor and “Wrap-Up Podcast” host Scott Reynolds sent a message two him this week, something the social media-savvy writer would not have done if this was a fake account. (Nobody wants to bring attention to these, as they tend to be created just about all the time with someone’s intent of creating a fantasy life for themselves.)
In continuing along with Reynolds here, you may also be pleased to know that he recently shared a photo of a “Dexter” season 8 sign; while this may not be an enormous deal, it is yet another cool sign that the official starting of filming next week is just around the horizon. A number of scripts have already been written out and are ready to shoot, and now we are just left with the mystery of what is actually going to happen to Dexter and Debra Morgan after killing LaGuerta during last year’s finale. Even though there may be two of them now, this is not going to be an easy kill for them to cover up.
