Are you ready to see a “Friends” reunion? Courteney Cox has been rather kind over the years when it comes to booking such people as Jennifer Aniston and Lisa Kudrow on her own show “Cougar Town,” and now we have the following news when it comes to a certain Matthew Perry show that will feature an appearance from his one-time on-screen wife.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Cox is set to play a character on “Go On” who Anne meets, and then tries to set up with Perry’s character of widower Ryan. This follows up an appearance on the show by Piper Perabo in a similar role, though Cox is not expected to last as long.
When it comes to “Go On,” it certainly makes sense that the show would do just about everything it can right now to boost some sagging numbers for the series. This show has had some big-name stars from the sports world before (including Terrell Owens and Kareen Abdul-Jabbar), but this is the first time that they have dipped into some of Perry’s own past in order to trying and bring some more of “Friends” to the new NBC show.
In addition to this series, both Cox and David Schwimmer have already guest-starred on Kudrow’s web / Showtime series “Web Therapy.” which continues to prove that despite the fact that these people are no longer working together, they remain good friends both personally and professionally.Every single star of “Friends,” after all, has done some sort of work on scripted TV since that show ended a decade ago.
