‘New Girl’ season 2 spoilers: What could Nick and Jess face next?

Are there some big troubles coming up for Nick and Jess on “New Girl”? Well, it is probably a little early to go that far considering that the two parties are not even an official couple just yet. Nonetheless, it looks as though there could be some problems coming up for them coming straight from within Nick’s own workplace.

According to a brand-new report from TVLine, Jess is going to develop much more of a romantic interest in Nick following their spontaneous kiss, but there will be a new obstacle in her way courtesy of Shane, an attractive co-worker of Nick’s from the bar who just so happens to be the boss’ daughter. We can’t say whether or not she is going to be getting romantic with Nick, but there will definitely be some tension there.

As we reported previously, the kiss was a big moment for the two’s possible future together, but that does not mean that they are going to be dating anytime soon. As a matter of fact, there are no expectations at the moment for the two to become  anything more than just really good friends who may have some feelings lingering somewhere in there. The main question is just whether or not they are going to find the right time to allow those feelings to fester into something more, and making sure that allowing this to happen will not destroy what they already have. There’s nothing more risky that roommates dating, mostly since it can turn out very badly and lend the entire arrangement altogether.
