‘Bones’ season 8 finale spoilers: Developments on Booth, Brennan marriage dilemma

Booth and Brennan have happily moved in  together after Brennan gave birth to their adorable little girl named Christine on “Bones”, but the two have not made the deal official by getting married or even being engaged at this point.  So what’s the hold up?

Executive producer Stephen Nathan tells TVLine that viewers are going to get a little more insight into the Brennan/Booth marriage situation during the “Bones” season 8 finale and that it will be a major development with that story line.  He said: “[viewers will get] one more surprising piece of the Brennan/Booth marriage dilemma.”

Also if you’re wondering if there will be further movement on the Pelant storyline now that he has made his presence known after breaking into Hodgins and Angela’s house, drugging them and leaving a corpse hanging in a canopy above their bed, you can be rest assure that we haven’t seen the last of him yet.  If you are also still wondering what Pelant did to Booth and Brennan’s alarm clock and you think you might’ve missed the big reveal, know that it is still coming up – in fact not only has the episode that reveals that mystery not aired yet, it also hasn’t been filmed or even written at this point.  So when are we going to learn about the alarm clock?  It will also be during the season 8 finale of “Bones”.

The next new episode of “Bones” called “The Doll in the Derby” airs on Monday, February 4th at 8 p.m. on Fox and will be focusing on a bit of a strange storyline revolving around Booth.  If you watched the last episode of “Bones” you saw the heartfelt video message Booth made as his last will and testament for Christine and Brennan, so when we heard that only one week later we’d be watching an episode revolving around Cam suspecting Booth of having an affair with a mystery woman he had lunch with we weren’t sure what to think.
