‘The Walking Dead’ season 3 spoilers: Surprises for the midseason premiere

The Walking Dead season 3Would “The Walking Dead” really be such unless there were a few moments that left you thoroughly surprised? We are betting at the moment that the answer here is “no,” and we thus have some major news to share when it comes to the upcoming midseason premiere airing on February 10.

According to a new report from TVLine, there are a number of various things that you can expect to see either introduced or tied up by the time this episode comes to a conclusion.

1. That brotherly showdown between Merle and Daryl will reach some sort of conclusion … at least for the time being.

2. There will be a visit from a character that you will probably be rather surprised to see again (which is precisely what you probably thought when Merle turned up once again.

3. Every single person in the cast is probably going to try to live vicariously through Rick, at least when it comes to some of his actions.

“The Walking Dead” has eight more episodes to go this year, and the real questions that remain pertain to whether or not The Governor is going to be able to completely destroy the rest of the survivors, or if Woodbury will become something other than a battlefield. No matter what, we can all but guarantee that the viewership will be enormous by cable standards.

Of course, most of the talk about “The Walking Dead” this year has been thanks to some drama away from the show: specifically, the exit of Glen Mazzara. If you want to hear what the producer had to say about this departure a little bit earlier this week, be sure to check out the story over at the link here.
