‘Glee’ season 4 spoilers: Naya Rivera ‘back with a vengeance’ soon

Are you ready to finally see more of Naya Rivera on “Glee”? Well, do not worry: Santana is going to be back on the Fox series in a big way soon, regardless of whether or not she gets back together with her ex Brittany right away.

While much of season 4 thus far has been the story of Kurt moving to New York and of Marley and Jake getting together at McKinley, early indications are that at least the next couple of weeks are going to be very much about Santana Lopez. Writing in a new post on his Twitter account, executive producer Ryan Murphy had the following to say about the actress’ return:

“She’s coming back with a vengeance. Naya really loves the Santana stuff we just shot.”

As for what we can tell you about, she will be performing a number of performances in the February 7 episode “Diva,” and will also be making a decision that will ultimately shape the course of the rest of her life. As for the romantic subplot with Sam and Brittany, we’re sure that Santana will not be particularly happy about it despite giving Heather Morris’ character the freedom to date other people. (There will be a duet between Rivera and Chord Overstreet, though, and we expect it to be a vocal tug-of-war.)

If Santana does end up moving to New York as has been heavily rumored, and even if she does opt to live with Kurt and Rachel, there are still a number of other questions worth asking. For one, is she going to be able to find a job quickly? NYADA is in the middle of semester, and we don’t even know if this is something that is her desired endgame to begin with.
