‘Once Upon a Time’ season 2, episode 12 preview: The next Hook / Emma scene

For all of you out there who love to ship Hook and Emma (and we know that there are plenty of you), the following “Once Upon a Time” season 2 video is definitely for you. After all, it marks the second time since Colin O’Donoghue arrived on the scene that his character has found himself tied up.

So what is the context for him being locked away in chains this time? Blame the fact that he wiped Belle completely clean of her memory, and even getting hit by a car and breaking a few bones cannot suddenly make him feel sympathetic.  Even in spite of all this, we still find ourselves for whatever reason rooting for him to end up with Jennifer Morrison’s character. It is pretty easy, after all, to see why the attraction is there: she tends to fancy herself some bad boys, and he is surely that. Not only that, but he makes no secret that he is interested in her, and does not pull any punches at all in continuing to flirt with her even when he is tied up and without hope.

Emma may be the closest thing to a friendly face that Hook sees anytime soon. We sincerely doubt that we are going to see Cora paying him a visit anytime soon, as Rumpelstiltskin wants him dead and we don’t really see any reason for Cora to put herself in danger by visiting him. In other words, he’s likely going to be buying his time for a little while sitting around and wondering how to charm his way out of what is a pretty impossible situation.
