‘True Blood’ season 6 spoilers: Joe Manganiello talks upcoming scripts
As we have reported as of late “True Blood” is currently gearing up for its upcoming sixth season set to premiere on HBO this summer; and with that in mind, some of the most-popular actors behind the show are currently being kind enough to share some of their thoughts on just what we can expect from the world of Bon Temps moving forward.
While at the annual post-Golden Globes HBO party on Sunday night, none other than Alcide himself in Joe Manganiello stopped by to chat with “Access Hollywood” about what is going on when it comes to the show so far; and based on what we are hearing, it looks as though we could be in for yet another wild ride:
“[It’s] racier. My character’s taken over the wolf pack, so as an alpha, and a pack of dogs, you gotta regulate, you gotta set it straight with everybody so there’s some violence. It’ll be fun … This is Season 6 and the first couple scripts I read – I think they’re doing a lot of stuff that they maybe held back on the past couple years,” he told Access. “They’re pretty wild. I think it’s going to be a pretty wild season.”
We saw Alcide show off his passionate side in more than one way during season 5, and the hopes that everyone had of him hooking up with Sookie Stackhouse for a while were halted courtesy of a very cruel stunt that Eric pulled on him. As for what we know is coming up, get ready to see much more Robert Patrick; thanks to “Last Resort” ending, the actor has signed up here to be a regular for the rest of the year as Alcide’s down-on-his-luck father.
