‘The Vampire Diaries’ season 4: A ‘holier’ look at Paul Wesley, Nina Dobrev
For their latest promotional photo for “The Vampire Diaries” season 4, we had an opportunity to see a very different side of Paul Wesley and Nina Dobrev’s characters. Specifically, they look as though they were standing in front of a very holiday place despite having some rather unholy behavior.
It’s really unclear as to why the show opted to take this promotional photo to begin with. After all, it is not like this is an overly religious show by any means, and there is not very much in the way of symbolism of that variety. The only real time we have even seen a church this season was in episode 2, when there was a funeral for the council that led to the first real attempt by vampire hunter Connor on trying to take out some of Mystic Falls’ “infestation.”
Is it possible that this will change moving forward? Sure, and we like to think that there is a reason why the show opted to release this new photo now. Then again, we should point out that the images that are used here are from the same photo shoot as the one from earlier this season, which means that they could have just been photo-shopped in here for some sort of dramatic effect. After all, photo shoots for CW series do not often mean anything at all; sometimes, they are just exist for the sake of existing.
What do you think about this new photo of the trio, and do you understand the significance of the church background (if there is any)? Be sure to share your thoughts below! Lets be real about Stefan, he’s not a good person. He forced Jeremy to kill that vampire, for what, selfish reasons. Like Elena said, she rather stay a vamp to submit her brother to that. He can’t love Elena as a vamp and that makes no sense, but you want her to love you, despite all the $hit he has done. STEFAN IS A LOW LIFE. RIPPING PEOPLE HEADS OFF, DRAINING THEIR BLOOD, AND WRITE THEIR NAME ON THE WALL, for freaking what. Evil Man/Vamp
