‘Real Housewives of Orange County’ season 8: Gretchen Rossi talks filming

We have spent a great deal of time as of late talking about the Bravo shows that are on the air in “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” and “Beverly Hills,” but why don’t we on this holiday weekend take a look at our personal favorite installment of the franchise? “The Real Housewives of Orange County” is in the process of shooting what is its landmark eighth season (the only version of the series to make it this far), and one of its biggest stars in Gretchen Rossi recently spoke out a little bit about the progress of the show thus far, and what could be coming up this season.

In her chat with Luke Marsden, the first thing that we should point out here is that Gretchen is in fact a part of the season, so you don’t have to sit around worry over the next few months as to whether or not she will be bringing her own brand of entertainment back to the show:

“I am on board … We’re in the middle of filming right now!”

While Rossi was coy on the topic of her relationship with Slade Smiley (which made plenty of headlines throughout season 7), she did say that she is devoting much of her time at the moment with helping his son battle a rare brain tumor, and this unfortunately situation has weighed heavily on her.

“I had so much going on in my personal life with Slade’s son being sick … So I haven’t been filming as much as I usually am.”

We’re looking forward to seeing just what of Gretchen’s life ends up on the show this season, just as we are still at the moment looking forward to finding out just when season 8 is going to premiere.
