‘Private Practice’ season 6, episode 11 preview: Ready for Amelia’s story?
After focusing on Charlotte’s story leading up to her giving birth on Tuesday night’s “Private Practice” season 6 episode, we are shifting gears yet again to focus on a woman who has been romantically-challenged on the show for some time: Amelia. Could she start up on the road to love this week? While that is still unclear, we can at least wager it to be more possible than ever thanks largely to the details explained below … along with the sole fact, of course, that there only are such a small amount of episodes left in the series and Shonda Rhimes has to want some sort of happy ending here.
This episode (entitled “Good Fries Are Hard to Come By”) is the show’s first one back on January 8, and it includes a little bit of medicine in its official synopsis from ABC to go along with the dating disasters:
“Amelia, now sober for more than a year and on the mend emotionally, goes on a series of disastrous blind dates set up by the other doctors at the practice. After vowing to be alone indefinitely, she teams up with James on a medical procedure, which leads to dinner — and the dinner leads to something completely unexpected.”
So what will happen by the end of the episode? That much is still a mystery, but we know that “Mad Men” actor Matt Long is going to be coming on board for some sort of guest spot this week … though we do not know just yet who he is going to be playing.
What do you think about this synopsis thus far, and are you hoping that Amelia finds love like the rest of us? If you want to read our most-recent “Private Practice” season 6 episode review, you can do so over at the link here.
