Can you believe that there are only four episodes left of “Fringe”? The show is getting ready to end its run in 2012 on Friday night, and we now have a first look at the ominous new poster setting up the fight for the future that is getting ready to ratchet into high gear.
In many ways, we love just how daring this poster really is. It would have been very easy for the promo department here to put out an image of Anna Torv or one of the other actors, and thus try to bring in possibly fans who watched the early seasons of the show only to give up later. Instead, this feels very much like a poster made by fans for the fans, as there is probably nothing less attractive to look at than a bloodied-up member of the Observers.
As for where the story is going to head, we of course do not know too much about that, and anyone who tries to get spoilers out of any of the show’s actors at this point is like trying to open up a vault that is tightly sealed. The series finale has already been taped, and the airdate is set for January 18. At this point, it is almost far better to sit around speculate how the show is going to end, rather than actually knowing the answer to it. There are so many questions at the moment, and we only hope that the writers are able to come up with something that feels satisfying for all the characters, in addition to allowing us some sort of hope for the future.
