‘Sons of Anarchy’ season 6 spoilers: Ron Perlman talks path for Clay
It may be rather early to speculate too much on what is going to be happening on “Sons of Anarchy” season 6, but why don’t we give it a short, anyway, courtesy of a man who has a little bit of inside information? Ron Perlman at least has a reasonable idea as to what is coming up for his character of Clay, and he at least has some sort of general knowledge as to what could be coming up.
With that in mind, we turn to the actor’s latest comments per TVLine, where he explains that in all likelihood, we are going to see Clay back to being Clay, largely because this is the man that he is, and it really does not make a great deal of sense for us to see him in an extremely damaged state for a long period of time:
“You can get ready for another reset for Clay next year … What it is, I don’t know. But I would guess that Season 6 is going to very much be an exploration of [Clay and Jax] changing places. [Clay] goes on some sort of journey of retribution, while [Jax] watches his aspirations disintegrate right in front of his eyes, even if he can’t see it.”
Granted, Perlman also included a pretty massive caveat in here in that he is typically wrong when it comes to what is happening for his character, since executive producer Kurt Sutter has formed a pretty great habit over time of continually finding ways in which to surprise him.
Season 6 of “Sons of Anarchy” is not going to be filming until several months into 2013, and the writing process is not even going to really get going until February. Want to have something to tide you over? We recommend either checking out the latest production video here, or potentially voting for the series as Show of the Year.
