NBC’s ‘The Voice’ season 4: First promo unveiled with Shakira, Usher

adam-levine-the-voice-nbcEven though season 3 of “The Voice” was coming to a close Tuesday night, the producers behind the show still opted to waste no time at all when it came to unveiling their first look at the upcoming season 4.

During the show’s finale, Carson Daly unveiled what was a brief (and rather silly) promo showing off Blake Shelton and Adam Levine alongside the new additions to the team: Usher and Shakira. So where are Cee Lo Green and Christina Aguilera? The answer there is simple: off working on some other projects. They have not quit the show by any means, and will continue to be a part of it moving forward even while they develop some other ways to keep them relevant in the modern music industry. As for Adam and Blake, they have been lucky enough to produce hit records even while touring and appearing on the show.

We’ll have the promo below as soon as it is finally released, but for now what we can tell you is that the focus here is on the four coaches in a pickup truck, arguing continuously over what it is that they ultimately want to end up listening to. Finally, they come to a decision on the biggest guilty pleasure track of all: “Total Eclipse of the Heart.” This may just be us, but who wouldn’t want Usher to be their mentor? Just in case you forgot, the last guy to work directly under him was a teenager known as Justin Bieber, and that worked out rather well.

Do you think that Shakira or Usher would be really great judges on the show? We want to hear your thoughts below, and you can also preview the ultimate winner of season 3 over at the link here.
