‘The Bachelor’: Sean Lowe opens up on Emily Maynard, Jef Holm

So what does Sean Lowe think about Emily Maynard now, especially now that she and the person she picked over him on “The Bachelorette” have now broken up? Just as you would expect when it comes to the guy, he is playing it off in just about the nicest way imaginable. (Of course, he may not have that much to worry about here when you consider that he may already be completely moved on in form of a new engagement.)

Speaking once again in a conference call with reporters this week, Sean was asked about Emily and Jef’s breakup, and he not only talked about when he first heard the news that they were done, and what sort of message he has for the woman who broke his heart earlier this year now:

“I heard about their split at our final destination [on the show], but I think even before we did The Bachelor I knew she wasn’t the one for me. Jef’s a good guy, and I hope for happiness for her in her future.”

Sean may have actually spent a little bit of time with Emily earlier this year (at least in the form of a cordial greeting), as the two were both guests at Ashley Hebert’s wedding to J.P. Rosenbaum (which airs on ABC this Sunday) earlier this year. Things probably weren’t awkward, though, especially when you consider all of the bizarre “Bachelor” ties that exist in a situation quite like this one.
