The “Dexter” season 7 finale is hopefully going to give us some sort of conclusion when it comes to LaGuerta and the Bay Harbor Butcher; but in addition to that, there is also apparently still the story of Hannah McKay to be completely tied up. That’s right: somehow, her being shipped off to prison was not the end here.
One of the issues we anticipate coming up on the show next is simply that Dexter clearly has not really gotten over the fact yet that Hannah understands him better than anyone else, so we assume that will lead to him skulking around her a little while longer. But did she really poison Deb at all, or did someone else spike her water bottle? We’ve already had that debate, and the sneak peek below really is not about that.
Instead, what we have here is a pretty intense back-and-forth between Deb and Hannah, as Yvonne Strahovski’s character is pretty quick to call the police Lieutenant out on being a complete and utter hypocrite. She has no plans at all to rat on Dexter to the police, but she simply finds it interesting that she is so willing to cast a blind eye on her brother, while at the same time she will do just about anything in her power in order to ensure that Hannah gets behind bars and rots in a jail cell. This of course is all a big allusion to the blind spot that Deb has for her brother, whether it is facilitated by her being in love with him or something else.
Do you think Hannah’s comments could cause Deb to think everything over to herself for a little while? If you want to read some more about what regrets Deb might have about locking Hannah up, be sure to check out the article over here.
