‘Amercian Horror Story: Asylum’: Jessica Lange talks season 3 and episode 9

American Horror Story: AsylumRyan Murphy’s “American Horror Story: Asylum” has been a huge hit this season with the fans, so it’s not shocker that people want to know what he has planned for season 3.  Murphy used much of the same cast from season 1 in season 2 (just in different characters), so is he planning on doing that again for season 3?

In a conference call with a few different media outlets, Jessica Lange spoke a bit about season 3 and whether or not she will be coming back to take on another new character.  She said: “Well, we haven’t really talked about it too much, and all that stuff is still under discussion.  I think I will try it again, depending on what the story is and who the character is and all of that, so we’ll see what happens.”

As we’ve seen from the previews from Wednesday’s upcoming episode, Sister Jude will find herself going from being the head of the institution to being a patient at Briarcliff, so when she was asked about what viewers can expect to see tomorrow night, Lange said that things have been put in motion towards the demise of Briarcliff.  She said:

“I’m always a little timid about talking about the plot line.  Yes, everything gets put in motion now as far as Briarcliff and the demise of that institution and everybody’s departure from it, except mine.  Yes, she actually does now try to right the wrongs that she has done, but of course she’s totally trapped within her own making, in a way.  Yes, I don’t know, beyond that I’m not sure I should say where it’s going.”

On Wednesday’s episode of “American Horror Story: Asylum” we will not only see Sister Jude become a patient at Briarcliff, but we will also watch Lana become a bit of a hero as she finds the evidence needed to exonerate Kit and prove that he is not Bloody Face, so be sure to tune in tomorrow night at 10 p.m. on FX to see how it all unfolds.
