Love Island USA season 8 episode 25: Movie Night hits KC, Sincere

From the moment that we heard that Love Island USA season 8 episode 25 was going to be Movie Night, we knew there would be drama. Yet, there were still some questions when it comes to who it would hit the hardest.

First and foremost, this is where we should note that what we saw here is really just a portion of the overall event. Based on the previews for what is ahead, there is still more to show when it comes to both Kenzie and Sincere. (Also, likely Corbin.) The people who got it the worst in part one are, clearly, the likes of KC, Sincere, and Zach, and they really have no one to blame but themselves.

KC easily had it coming given the way that he talked about Aniya. The way he apologized also felt somewhat weak. The same goes for Zach, who has made quite possibly the most baffling move possible. How did he never tell Kayda that Alannah left the villa during Casa Amor? It is clearly something that she would learn eventually and yet, he chose radio silence. It has long been speculated that some of his conversations would come back to bite him — he and Kayda may be able to get past parts of this, but it will be hard.

As for Melanie and Sincere, we really hope that they are done for Melanie’s sake. So much of his past was exposed here and while he did muster an apology, it does not take away from everything she saw. The fact that she did not even want to have a long discussion after the fact just showed she was broken by some of what she saw. The producers had a lot to show of KC, but how much does it matter given that he and Aniya are over? Aniya really said it best — it was all about respect, and the way he commented about her versus how Aniya didn’t comment about KC while being with Carl.
