‘American Horror Story: Asylum’ spoilers: Will Lana help prove Kit’s innocence?

On the last episode of “American Horror Story: Asylum” we have a glimmer of hope for the first time all season that our hero Lana might actually be able to make something good happen when it comes to proving Kit’s innocence.  (Warning: spoilers ahead)

Lana has escaped the evil clutches of Dr. Thredson/Bloody Face not once but twice now.  The first time she managed to escape his basement of horrors where he lived out his mommy fantasies and tortured Lana.  The second time Dr. Thredson returned to Briarcliff after learning of the car accident in hopes to find Lana there – which he did, but much to his surprise, Kit was no longer in custody and back at Briarcliff as well, so when Dr. Thredson tried to attack Lana again, Kit was there to help her escape.

Dr. Thredson revealed to Lana that he had cleaned out his basement of horrors and that if she called the police there would be no way to trace anything back to him, so it would be his word against hers, but she decided to keep him alive (and tied up) in a room at Briarcliff, until she can find the evidence she needs to clear Kit’s name.

On next week’s episode of “American Horror Story: Asylum” called “The Coat Hanger”, Lana will find that evidence she is looking for to exonerate Kit from Bloody Face’s crimes and give him back his freedom.  What will that mean for Lana?  Will she also be set free?  Probably not, but it will be just as satisfying to see her be part of Kit’s exoneration and will come out of this a hero.

We also have some new photos from next week’s episode from Spoiler TV, that show Kit and Dr. Arden of all people sharing a drink and a smoke in his office.  Are these two plotting something together? Is Kit actually going to trust Dr. Arden after everything he has done to Kit? We’ll have to wait and see, but in the mean time take a look at the pictures and leave us a comment telling us your theories as to why these two are talking.
