‘New Girl’ season 2 spoilers: Disney Channel alum Brenda Song signs on

“New Girl” season 2 just can’t get enough of casting notable love interests these days. We just saw the debut of Olivia Munn last week, and this is already coming after new love interests for both Cece and Jess appearing during the season. So who is set to get a little bit of lovin’ down the road now? It’s none other than the recently broken-hearted Winston!

According to a new report from Entertainment Weekly, Brenda Song of “The Suite Life of Zack and Cody” has been cast to play the role of Daisy, a woman who is best described as incredibly competitive. She will end up becoming interested in Lamorne Morris’ character not long after he is rejected by another new face on the show, who will be played by Brooklyn Decker. (Who knew Winston would be getting so busy this spring?)

Considering the adjective that is being used to describe Song’s character at the moment, we are already suspicious as to one thing that could be happening when it comes to this character: could Winston end up getting together with Decker’s character later on? If so, we have a feeling that Winston’s choice in women could come back to haunt him in a very big way. You never want to get on a competitive person’s bad side, after all, and this is a show where a certain something hits the fan on a regular basis.
