Could Aria’s own father Byron be in part responsible for what happened directly on the now-infamous train ride during the “Pretty Little Liars” Halloween special? This is the first question that we are going to ask in what is the first of many sneak peek analysis articles leading up to the January 8 return of the show to ABC Family. Typically, we like to combine all of the preview clips together for one article right before the episode airs; but given that the wait is still a long one, why not give ourselves something to be excited about?
During the video below, it is Emily and the rest of Aria’s friends who really start to ask questions about Byron given the new information that Garrett told them shortly before his death, including that the man and Alison had some sort of heated conversation the night that she died. While Aria and her father have not seen eye-to-eye on much of anything, she does not believe that he would do something so drastic as to lock her up in a box with a dead body on Halloween night.
From this standpoint, we figure that Aria is probably right. These actions seems a little too harsh even for Byron, and it would also seem like too much of a dead (pun intended) giveaway with the information we already know about him. At the moment, Aria probably has more important things to worry about than her dad, including the return of Mona to Rosewood High following her release from Radley Sanitarium.
What do you think: could Byron have been aboard that train in secret, or do you think that this is too much of a stretch even for his character? If you want to see what other family member of one of the Liars is returning for the premiere, you can do so over here.
