‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ review: Does Kenya take things too far with Apollo?

The Real Housewives of Atlanta

Last week on “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” Kim Zolciak shocked everyone when she decided that she couldn’t handle the drama the ladies were giving her about not going on the trip to Anguilla and then quit the show. Will she be coming back this season?  Nope, but she has said that she may be back next season.

On tonight’s episode we saw the rest of the fall out from Kim leaving the show. Kroy started to get angry with production when they wouldn’t leave Kim alone, and back in the restaurant the ladies were totally over Kim’s dramatic reaction. The ladies are convinced that Kim is only focused on her kids and her man and that their friendships with her are over.

Later the women and their men all meet up at the airport to catch their flight to Anguilla for their trip. When they make it to Anguilla, Kenya will not stop pressuring her boyfriend Walter to propose and is hoping that he is planning to pop the question in Anguilla. Walter has been making it pretty clear throughout the season so far that he’s not ready for that kind of commitment at this point in his life and needs more time, but she won’t let up.

When they all finally arrive at the hotel, Kenya is extremely unhappy with her hotel room saying that it’s too small and that there’s no bathtub.  Phaedra on the other hand is happy with her room, but refuses to get in the hot tub because she is afraid of getting diseases.  Peter is excited to be in Anguilla with Cynthia saying that it has been years since they’ve been on vacation together.

After settling into their rooms, the group meets up at the hotel pool for drinks.  Phaedra gets upset when Kenya starts touching Apollo in an inappropriate way, throwing him in the pool and as the flirting continues, Phaedra gets more upset.

The next day Phaedra shows up in a thong bathing suit for their boat trip making everyone blush.  When the couples get to their destination the ladies break off with their men for a little while and Kenya pushes the marriage card on Walter again suggesting that they elope while they are in Anguilla. He tells her that there’s still three days before they go home and she doesn’t know what’s going to happen yet so to be patient.

At the end of the day when the couples reunite back at the hotel Kenya’s flirting with Apollo continues when she asks Phaedra if it was Apollo’s birthday and she had to choose two friends to give him as a present who she would choose. Kenya is pushing the envelope by flirting with with almost every man at the party while Walter watches.
