‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’: NeNe Leakes blasts Kim Zolciak over friendship motives
NeNe Leaks has not kept her disdain for Kim Zolciak much of a secret and tensions between them have been running at an all time high lately with all of the drama surrounding Zolciak leaving “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” mid-way through season 5.
When Kim announced that she was leaving the hit Bravo series because there was too much “drama” surrounding the show, fans wondered just how bad this drama could really be since the whole show is based on the premise of chaos. Zolciak revealed that when she wasn’t comfortable boarding a plane that was going to take the women to Anguilla for a vacation because she was 8 months pregnant, she was surprised at the negative reaction she got from her co-stars and decided that she had had enough of the drama and left the show of her own accord. NeNe disputed Kim’s claims that she left, and implied that she was asked to leave the show by producers – Kim has since denied this story.
Now NeNe is targeting Kim’s motives behind some of her friendships, specifically her friendship with Kandi. The reality star is saying that while she herself has never struck up a friendship with someone for “a reason”, Kim (in her opinion) became friends with Kandi to get her song recorded and released. NeNe tweeted: “Kandi can’t name 1 person I’ve ever befriended 4 a reason but Kim befriend her 4 a song! Now run tell that.”
At this time Kim has not responded to NeNe’s claims that she had ulterior motives for being friends with Kandi, but it does seem to us that the friendship was fairly genuine since both of the ladies had a common interest in music.
A new episode of the “Real Housewives of Atlanta” season 5 will air on Sunday, December 9th at 9 p.m. on Bravo, so be sure to tune in and see the aftermath of Kim’s departure from the show.
