‘The Real Housewives of Atlanta’ preview: Kim Zolciak leaves the show

There has been a lot of back and forth between the ladies of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” over whether or not cast member Kim Zolciak left the show of her own accord or if she was asked to leave by production, but tonight Kim’s final episode of the season will air and we will all be able to judge for ourselves what actually happened with our own eyes.

Originally Zolciak said that she decided to leave the hit Bravo series when she was asked to fly to Anguilla to watch costar Cynthia Bailey and her husband Peter Thomas renew their wedding vows while she was eight months pregnant.  She decided to decline the invitation because she felt she was too far along in her pregnancy to be flying anywhere. That’s when her co-stars allegedly started drama over Kim’s refusal to come to the wedding and Zolciak decided she’s had enough drama and left the show for the rest of the season (she may be back next season, no one knows for sure yet what she wants to do.)

One of Kim’s co-stars, NeNe Leakes, posted a series of messages on her Twitter account implying that Kim’s departure from the show was because she was asked to leave, not because she wanted to leave, but Kim has denied that there is any truth to this story.  In fact, Zolciak posted a message on her Twitter account yesterday saying that the truth will all come out during the episode and that fans can see her walk away from the show for themselves.  She wrote: “Just watched tomorrow night episode of RHOA just like I said #youwillwatchMEwalkaway #fact.”

“The Real Housewives of Atlanta” episode where Kim leaves the show will air tonight at 9 p.m. on Bravo, so be sure to tune in and judge the situation for yourselves on whether or not you feel that Kim left on her own, or if you think production asked her to leave.
