Are we talking about someone having a happy ending on “Hart of Dixie” season 2cc in terms of a character riding off into the sunset? Au contraire. In actuality, the title above refers to a former star of “Happy Endings” who is going to be heading down ton Bluebell for some action soon on the hit CW series.
Specifically, TVLine reports that the man joining the show in a recurring capacity is none other than Travis Van Winkle, who will be playing a role as the town’s new token heartthrob (and Lemon’s cousin) in Jonah Breeland. He is described as being someone who will send many ladies into a panic, but he will have a rather adverse effect on Zoe. As a matter of fact, he could end up destroying some of the goodwill she has been working to build in the town in the way of the George / Lemon breakup.
In addition to guest-starring on this show, Van Winkle has quite the resume lined up at this very moment. He has a part in the ambitious new TNT drama “The Last Ship” starring Eric Dane (of “Grey’s Anatomy” fame), and this role comes after appearing on such heavy-hitting shows as “Raising Hope” and “CSI: Miami.” There’s no word just yet as to how many episodes he will appear in, but you can bet on it being at least more than one based on what is described above. (It will also probably be determined on how the character fits in with the rest of the cast.)
