Best of 2012: Get ready to vote for your favorites!

It’s almost that time of year again; and no, we’re not talking about the holidays. Instead, it’s that time of year where we recognize the Best of 2012! This year, we’re going to be needing plenty of help, though, from you, the reader.

So what is going to happen? Here’s a quick lowdown. Beginning on Monday, December 3, we will be presenting nominees for each category daily listed below, and we will be needing your help in determining the Cartermatt.com readers’ choice. All you have to do is vote in the attached poll with each article, and the results will be revealed on Friday, December 21; that way, you have plenty of opportunities to come back and vote before the day all is revealed.

In addition to sharing the readers’ picks, both myself (editor-in-chief Matt Carter) along with Mrs. Carter will be presenting our own picks for the year in the categories above on Friday, December 28 … though we will be coming to some sort of consensus (tough as it may be considering our passion) as to the overall Show of the Year. It should be a month of great debate, and more than anything else it should serve as a great way to celebrate all of the reasons why we love TV and what a strong year 2012 really was for the industry.
