ABC’s ‘Revenge’ season 2 spoilers: Conrad’s next move

Madeleine Stowe, Henry CzernyThere are going to be some rather big moments coming up on “Revenge” season 2, but one them just may involve one of the most ridiculous ideas we have heard of yet: Conrad actually deciding to pursue a political career. Why in the world would the man want to do this considering that he was just recently under suspicion for Gordon Murphy’s murder? We don’t know, but he seems to fill to classic stereotype for any sort of politician these days: he has a lot of money, a questionable past, and he must be rather bored.

Apparently, we are not the only one who thinks that Conrad must be completely and totally bonkers to even be considering this idea. After all, how else do you interpret what Madeleine Stowe recently told TVLine on this very subject?

“Conrad’s thinking of running for political office, to which Victoria thinks, ‘This is absolutely absurd.’ All she cares about is taking out the people who might grab her son.”

So why is anyone going to be after Daniel Grayson? This really comes back to the latest power struggle that has been happening as of late when it comes to the family, as he is trying to get accustomed to his new role helping to run the company. The problem? Not everything is going to go according to plan, and we already know from last week’s flashback episode that this is not really what he wanted to do with his life to begin with.

Do you think Conrad getting into politics on “Revenge” is a bad idea, or an absolutely terrible idea? We want to hear some of your thoughts on this story below! If you want to look at our recent ratings debate for the show, you can do so over at the link here.
