NBC’s ‘Revolution’ fall finale preview: Monroe makes his stance clear (video)

“Revolution” has been building to a showdown between the Monroe Republic and the tiny Nation of Charlie (or at least this is what we’re calling it) all season long, and on Monday night, it is finally here. Sadly, this also marks the fall finale, which means that we better savor the moment for these characters for just about as long as we can.

So what will unfold here by the time the hour is over? That much is still a little unclear, but the new sneak peek for the episode released by NBC does illuminate one thing above all else: we are not going to be seeing Monroe run away from any of his problems. As a matter of fact, he swill be taking on Miles Matheson firmly from within the confines of Philadelphia. Neville warns him that it may be a better idea to run rather than put himself in danger, but this is simply not the way in which he sees himself operating here. (Shocker!)

So how will Charlie, Aaron, and everyone else get themselves involved? If we had to guess, we would say that they are going to probably try everything in their power to set Miles up as a distraction while they look for Danny, though what they may not realize is that in the process of finding them, they may make an even larger discovery: not only is Rachel also alive, but she is going to in many ways hold the key to restoring the power in key parts of the world.
