‘Dexter’ season 7, episode 9 preview: More emotional damage for Deb

Hasn’t Dexter Morgan done enough already to his sister? Based on the latest sneak peek that is online for Sunday night’s new “Dexter” season 7 episode, we guess not. Jennifer Carpenter’s character is once again going to be at the mercy of Michael C. Hall, and this time it comes courtesy yet again of his new and rather dangerous “girlfriend” Hannah McKay.

As we have set up in some recent articles, here is the situation we are going to find ourselves in Sunday night: Hannah is set to be kidnapped by Isaak, and he has to find a way to seemingly get her out of his grasp while killing him at the same time. Is he really planning to kill the man, though? Based on some of what has been reported already, it is actually possible that Isaak is only taking Yvonne Strahovski’s character as a part of some sort of elaborate plan to ensure that he gets some men that are after him taken care of. With that in mind, Dexter may be doing something even worse than trying to get Deb to help him save a murderous woman that he loves; he may be doing it with a further ulterior motive to help another killer.

Is Deb ever going to reach her breaking point with her brother? This is a serious question that this season makes us wonder, especially since with every episode Dexter seems willing to push her boundaries more and more as to what is acceptable behavior. Sure, she may think that she loves him, but feelings do end up changing over time.

What do you think Dexter is secretly up to here?
