‘Pretty Little Liars’ spoilers: What’s next between Aria … and Alison?

If you love “Pretty Little Liars,” then you may be familiar already with the notion that this show has a tendency to love to bring at least a few people back from the dead from time to time. We’re not speaking in the literal sense here, but it has become pretty clear that executive producer Marlene King has no problem at all with reviving such people as Alison for at least a dream sequence or two.

So who is Alison going to be spending some time with next? Based on what Lucy Hale is telling Wetpaint in a new interview, she and Aria will be trading blows in some sort of mysterious storyline coming up after season 3 returns to the air in January:

“There’s been a lot of exciting stuff for Aria lately. In the Halloween episode she went through that whole situation. I can’t remember what episode number it is, but Aria’s actually sick throughout the whole episode, so we don’t know if she’s dreaming or whatever’s going on. We don’t know if it’s real but she has an interaction with Alison, and it sort of reveals a lot. And the last thing that Alison says to Aria, I can’t tell you what it is, but sort of makes you go, ‘What!?’ A little confusing. No, that was really fun because … I had never had a one-on-one scene with her before.”

Alison is going to be rather busy this season dealing with a good many people from the Montgomery family, especially when you remember that Byron and her had some sort of argument on the night of her death. We don’t really know the meaning behind this just yet, but this is also something that has been confirmed to be a major part of the new season, as well.

Why do you think Alison is going to not only be turning up, but speaking with Aria of all people?
