‘Sons of Anarchy’ season 5, episode 12 preview: Face to face

“Sons of Anarchy” season 5 has been in a word intense, but Kurt Sutter and the team are still somehow finding a way to continue taking things up a notch; and for the newest evidence of this very thing, all you have to do is take a look at some of the new photos that we have from the new episode airing on Tuesday night entitled “Darthy.”

First, we have what looks to be a meeting on the ground between Jax and Damon Pope, who seems completely incapable of dressing like a normal human being even when he is outside of his typical environment. We know that the two are hard at work negotiating a deal, but that it is also one that Jax is not going to be altogether keen to accept. Why? Damon wants Tig’s head on a metaphorical spike, and this is still someone that Jax could technically use. After all, just look at the shattered state of SAMCRO at the moment: Juice is a rat, Clay is back to being Clay, and who knows just who else is going to drift away?

At the end of the day, Clay is probably still Jax’s biggest threat more so than even Pope or one of the rival gangs. The unfortunate thing about this is that he is also the hardest person to take down, given his ties to Gemma and some of the other people he is close to. A war is already being waged within the walls of the motorcycle club, and we have a feeling that it will only grow worse and ties goes by until the dust finally settles.
