‘Mad Men’ season 6: More on January Jones’ new look
With the cast of “Mad Men” back on set filming season 6 of the hit AMC series it was a bit of a shock when January Jones (Betty Draper) was spotted walking around town as a brunette. Will Betty be trading in her blonde locks for some darker roots like Megan Draper, Don’s new wife, or has she already filmed all of her scenes for the upcoming season and is just playing around with a new look?
In a new interview with US Weekly, Jones’ hair colorist, Jennifer J., spoke out about January’s new chocolate brown hair color and said that the actress has never been shy when it comes to trying new hair colors and experimenting with different hues. She said;
“We’ve done so many colors. She’s been pink and rose gold and red and blonde and all sorts of colors. We’re just going through all the different colors! We did her brows too, so it looked really pretty on her . . . She’s just so game!”
Jennifer called January “brave” when it came to trying out different colors with her hair, saying that at one point they even dyed her hair pink. She said;
“She’s so brave and she loves doing different things. One time, seven or eight years ago, we made her whole head bubble gum pink! It’s fun to do color changes, especially with somebody who looks good in everything.”
Even though there’s no confirmed date for the return of “Mad Men” season 6, it’s likely we’ll see the Draper clan back on the network in the early spring of 2013. Do you like January’s brown hair or do you prefer seeing her as a blonde? Leave a comment below and tell us what you think.

She is a beautiful woman, and if she wants to dye her hair, I think she should just go for it!

What’s Mad Men? Oh you mean that show that was on a few years ago. Haven’t heard much about it recently, I just thought it was cancelled.
